Two Tales Of My Two Neighbors (Senryu) Poem by NHIEN NGUYEN MD

Two Tales Of My Two Neighbors (Senryu)

Rating: 2.5

I have two neighbors
One on right, the other left
My yard, their trees fell.

One is righteous man
He claimed fallen tree as his
And he cleaned it up.

Other walked away
Saying this is act of God
It costs me thousand.*

This was a dead tree
It fell not by accident
But by his neglect.

Small incident shows the real world. Always two kinds of people around. You experienced both. Thanks for sharing Dr. Nhien nguyen.
