Under Barracouta Sky Poem by Jay Hall

Under Barracouta Sky

Silver scales shining
backdrop to the moon
Saturn is scheduled
to reveal soon
Mercury rising
her usual spot
And mercury's rising
ninety six degrees hot
Close your eyes
feel Jupiter's glow
Backlighting black velvet
as dawn's bout to show
Infinite theatre
boggles the mind
More humbling feeling
you'll never find
A speck on a speck
can't fathom: Don't try
Be still and exist
Under Barracouta Sky
