Under The Umbrella Poem by D.N. Rebb

Under The Umbrella

Rating: 5.0

Sharing a crumpled joint
In a light rain
Under the umbrella
Safely contained

A mild buzz takes some time
To contribute
Enhancing that weak joke
Along chanced routes

Helpless laughter takes reign
Indeed brutal
As they're fallin' in love
Shyness, so cruel

Eye contact is thus made
Splendor is found
Taste of lips, unrated
Access allowed

Rain continues to pour
Oblivious
Still the dome bides shelter
As life's discussed
