Underground Poem by Justin Gildow

Underground

Rating: 0.5

Fell in from above
And you've taken off love
And now I've got to go through places I've never seen
Places I've never been

The days aren't getting easier
The hours click and pound like pistons in my mind
And here I am searching for you
The one that matches up to me
The one of a kind
The one that holds the key to my lifetime

Make no argument
Even if there's a foul stench down here
I won't give up until I find you

In the catacombs
The underlings from the mutations are following my every step
From screamers to gumdropp machines
Barging my way into the lairs of the humongous bullfrogs
But still I press on

Regardless of whether the Plutonium Boss throws his whole arsenal and army at me
Regardless of whether he sends them in the air, at me, or underneath
I won't rest until I find you
