Underneath The Stars Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Underneath The Stars

no, this is not the first time
you've done me right
want more of you holding me
under the moonlight
it was a moment caught by Kodak
no avoiding the fact,
how last Thursday was a throwback

I leave home like a young teen would do
cause tonight i'm hanging with the crew
I Just know i'm headed to where you are
we're kissing underneath the stars
it's so electrifying

and you have worn a smile to flaunt
When I come in, i'll be all you want
coming towards you on this very weekend
you do me right baby,
let me show you what I intend

I leave home like a young teen would do
cause tonight's between me and you
I Just want to be wherever you are
there we kiss underneath the stars
it's so electrifying
