Unhinged Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unhinged

A door off its hinges,
Can be either replaced.
Or put back to secure intact.
But a mind unhinged.
To reveal loosened bolts and nuts.
Can result in wasted time.
Trying to find reasons,
What that mind could have been.
If only the one did not lose it.
Pretending to have a mind,
Sharper to use.
Than it has ever been.
Even if more notice,
The looseness of it makes many cringe.
