Universal Poem by Vi Lanflagle

Universal

Make a wish upon a Wishing Star,
Shield your eyes from the blazing Sun,
Wait for the darkness, wait for the Moon,
Lock away your heart - wait for the only one.

Earth is waiting - spinning round the Sun.
The Moon can't stand it, so it backs away.
Venus sits right beside her Earth, watching them,
As a Wishing Star fall slowly toward her surface.

The Moon now coming on headstrong,
Earth is becoming slowly confused,
The Sun comes too, he won't take so long,
Venus sits still watching.

Earth cries out in frustration,
Venus offers helping words soothing her,
The Wishing Star slows its descent,
While the Sun and the Moon fight for the throne.
