Unlocked Poem by playdough person

i'm sorry i continue to say its nothing
when you clearly see its something
for so long i've locked myself away from the outside world
with every cornner it seems i had to draw a sword
fight my way through
every few steps a new battle with people who have no clue
my life is like a diary
the only way in is with a key
for just a moment i will remove the lock
look fast for this is your only shot
all my thoughts from day to day
so look carefully before you turn the page
i hate when people think they have life all figured out
cause there the first ones to fight and shout
its funny how with life everyone assumes theres a trick or a key
when all it really takes is to sit back and see
you have one life
some may say otherwise but its yours dispite
always look at whats ahead
don't spend all your days scared and in bed
take a chance
learn that in life there are things such as a second glance
look forward to everyday
though your situation can be rough, your alive, so don't run away
push through
don't be so sure that all you need is YOU
time goes on
so don't run away, don't stay gone
stand up to it
its the only way to get through it
never turn away
cause it will catch up with you some day
if you hang on to your past
all the pain you felt will only last
what happens in this life
when all the words that are spoken are like knifes
stand up tall
with out letting all the pain cause you to fall
you will look back some day
but will you be able to say
i'm pround of who i am
i did it, i took a stand
don't allow anyone to push you around
if you do, only lost you will be found
you should be proud of you
no matter what it is you've been through
believe that there is a better life
it just maybe a little out of sight
become part of the some
that chose to overcome
there IS a way out
but its up to YOU to figure it out
they key is
never lose who you are
if you pretend, don't go to far
look back at times to remind yourself
that everything that lays behind you makes you unique from everyone else
you have seen the pain that to many have felt
so now we take a stand
hoping to beat that so-called-man
don't EVER let it go
for in your life it will show
seek out the ones who have fallen
pick them up, help them start again
if they try and give you a reward
just tell them, pay it forward
its time we stuck together
through the pain we will pass the letter
from this point its in your hands
never feel that you can't
take this letter
and pass it on to another
save a life from here
and kick start our juourny, put it in gear
