'Unscrambled By The Scrabble.' Poem by Bimal Koul

'Unscrambled By The Scrabble.'

Running away from routine, seeking something new,
Swimming hopeless in the sea of words I was!

A stranger passed by, but strange it didn't feel,
curious about the things, hoping she'd reveal!

Spontaneous, I sent out an invite for a game,
" Blue Eyed Girl" but that was, only her name!

Played, Chatted and Smiled, we got along well,
Many Tiles to arrange, Many words to spell!

Games won and lost, but some things just stayed,
After many battles, the "Friendship" game we played!

"Friends For Ever" we were strangers no more,
I found a new world, saying, come explore!

Cherishing the moment, like the morning mist,
but hey hold-on, there sure was a Twist!

She asked for a gift, and sent me a plea,
and few games later, now she is my Sis.

The strongest bond, that's here to stay,
The greatest gift, I never can re-pay!

You are a family, friend and a guide,
I have so much faith, and I sure take pride!

This is a bond, it will die never,
Come what may, we're "Friends Forever."

I will never hurt you, there for you I'll be,
Love u so much, you're my sweetest Di.

The SCRABBLE untangled the scrambled routine,
I'm so thankful, can't tell how it has been!
