My feelings for you
Grow stronger everyday
What I feel inside for you
No one could ever take away

You have been the best friend
Anyone could ever ask for
With all that you've done for me
I could never ask more

You have stood beside me
In my darkest hour
You were always telling me
Together we had the power

I always protested to you
I said, you don't know that
You didn't say anything
But you always put out the welcome mat

For that I have to thank you
For the way you handled us
No matter what was said or done
There was always that binding trust

So, as I travel through life
I couldn't have asked for a better friend
But what makes me even happier
Is knowing, you'll be there until the end
