Until The Mountains Bleed Poem by Kelly Zion

Until The Mountains Bleed

Rating: 3.5

A gentle mountain scene
and a willow tree
a little piece of history,
part of life's mysteries
life is never what it seems
all we can do is dream
try and reach our destinies
and fight until the mountains bleed.

You're the only mountain that I need
and we'll always be at peace,
I'll never hurt you, you'll never hurt me,
you'll find me a home by the Chattahoochee
surrounded by fields of mulberries,
I'll die like a parakeet
under the weeping cherry trees
and be so sweet the mountains bleed.

All the mountains will fall in love,
oh please find me the right one,
find this little kitten a home
'cause you'll always be the mountain I count on
and I'll wear your heart to make me strong
so please, find a place where I belong,
where I can live out a song
and we can break these hearts of stone
and make the mountains bleed.
