Untitled Poem by show me the glint of light on broken glass

Untitled

When nothings wrong yet your still upset... I try to reason it away
When your toungs too sharp and shreds away at all my understanding
I swear logics out the door

Pick up the phone
Pick up
i know you rather not
the caller asks for you
News for your ears alone
hurry up
a life is burning
here is the weight
she wants for you to bury
Sending you my love
pick up the phone
pick up

I want the sound to deafen you
remember when we had the chance
you never took for real.
And all your crazy makin's
givin me the greatest idea
to watch you fall apart
greatest gift
the sweetest kiss
goodbye
this is goodnight
pick up I want your life to end with mine

I'm alone
im so alone
full of
sorrow that you built
Synthetic guilt
shouldn't be weighing on me now
Somehow your lack of sanity
still resonates in waves of pain
waves that love to condescend
and so
I'm alone
so alone
and I want you to feel
the pain
the sorrow
and the shame
cast off of me to you
So answer the goddam phone

God wants you to understand
learn what it means to feel alone
and have to blame all the pain on someone that
Should
does
really love you
Does he really love you?
Pick up the phone
Maybe only then we'll see
