Untitled Poem by Oleh Wolansky

Untitled

I will not allow this terrible longing to engulf me like a plague of knowing.
Never to reach…to plumb the depths and reaches of this Earth;
To lay subsequently, a dormant banquet of conciliatory acquiescence.

To remove myself from your glance would destroy me.
Bear witness to your mind’s design.
I will disappear from your mind like so many false gods.
