Untitled Poem by Peter Swan

Rating: 5.0

Tread lightly my dear fellow,
For morning soon will come
Kiss the night time sky goodbye
And watch the dawning of the sun.

Don’t forget to pack your memories,
And take your dreams and wishes to
This land that you’ll be leaving
Will be darker without you.

So what of where your going
If at all its anywhere
You will rest in Gods own slumber
And lay your head upon his hair
