Untitled 6 Poem by Aplier Hao

Untitled 6

When I'm telling the lie
That's so hard to believe
As I painfully try
To just let you be

Whenever you're near
The energy flows
I can feel my fears
As they start to grow

And I'm not sure why
I continue to run
When not even I
Can outrun the gun

The trigger's waiting
For it's chance to pull
There's no debating
The reasons are null

When truths ring hollow
With no sound let out
Emptiness follows
For promises doubt

Energy, power
I want none of it
A blossomed flower
Gets thrown in the pit

I've lost it at last
Thrown out those ways
If you'd seen my past
You'd be quite amazed

There can be no end
To what's already gone
It may be ticking down
But your safe from the bomb

And words mean nothing
And truth seems hollow
Yet there's no bluffing
But this path is followed

Two word's I've said
So many times
Two word's truer
Than any of their kind

I'm sorry
