Untitled Iv Poem by Alexander Foald

Untitled Iv

I was asking myself again today
What does love mean for someone as dear
As her, the girl who can give a heart attack
To everyman she accidentally meets on walk?

As I always know even though she lies
Her smile is the brightest one a girl ever has
Yet she’s still embarrassedly gone with a little laugh
Like no one ever thought

It’s best to live like this
And I would fear nothing anymore
When no one else can change my place
I don’t need to put a mask on this face

Cause I know that for sure
This time will last no longer than an hour
While I give her the best dance on the floor
All the audiences will clap asking for encore

And all that jazz in my head
And all that love in my heart
And all that she ever did on my bed
Will remain in memory to never last
