Untitled V Poem by Alexander Foald

Untitled V

The rain then poured and ruins all the mood
Like many things I ever said was never really right
For one thing you asked me to do and I didn’t listen
I just carried on and left wounds in your heart

But there’s always sunshine behind the clouds
There should always be chances to make up things I’ve put
I could hear the blistering thunder behind my ears
And now I’m afraid I might be losing you after these years

Because you’re always on my mind
And that’s one thing I couldn’t get off of me
Something can be expired, but not my love
It’ll always be reconstructed automatically
I always thought of today
That it’ll be a clear and beautiful day
And I’ve got a lot of time to spend
And we can have fun as best as we can
