Untitled Song Poem by vicky saladino

Untitled Song

A tragedy happened on that day
Of incomprehensible magnitude
I cannot picture in my mind
How this man concluded
Such a way to end your life
Attest that by your own hand to see
Shock and anguish in their eyes
Not even the most treacherous of human beings
Could accomplish this type of task
You have to wonder why this happened
Is it about our future or about his past
Hitler seemed quite the gentleman
In respect to this crime
So how bad a tumor was this man
Was he malignant or was he benign
These questions hopefully will never be answered
For if they are I'm afraid
Our days will soon be numbered
With so very many more graves
December 14th at nine thirty am
Will be remembered as sadness
Will be remembered as pain
Will be remembered by all of us
Waiting for someone to explain
