Untroubled Mind Poem by Michael John Cook

Untroubled Mind

I can close my eyes
But sleep may not ensue
I am thinking of someone
Do you wish it was you?
They say it is a troubled mind
For which sleep hath no time
But no troubles do I find
So long as you are on my mind
So off to sleep I must adhere
No worried mind, no troubles here
No reason tonight for feeling blue
I am thinking of someone
Do you wish it was you?
