Unwanted Headaches Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unwanted Headaches

One embittered with resentment,
And pretends...
Is not a student of forgiveness.
A self assessment done,
To cleanse and leave behind an anger felt...
Is one who can mend and move on!
Yet doesn't.

Someone ego driven,
And determined to have their way...
Suffers humiliation that comes one day.
To stay!
And there is nothing that can be said,
To one with this kind of thick head.
But a choice to leave them in their delusion,
Prevents the invitation of unwanted headaches.
