उसके रूप अनेक
कोई कहे "इश्क़ ना करियो कोई"
इश्क़ करे दुर्गति होइ
प्यार को समझे खेल
उसकी दुनिया होवतगोल।
जो वे ऐसा सौचते
लाज शर्म को छोड़ते
प्यार कभी किया नहीं
सोचकर भी अमल किया नहीं।
श्याम रंग मुझेसोहे नहीं
ओर प्यार बिन दुनिया चालत नहीं
मोरे श्याम तेरे नाम की ही लगनी
मैंने माला तेरे नाम की ही जपनी।
काली कालिंदी के घाट पर
में हो गया न्योछावर
प्यार, प्यार करते करते
हम होश को गंवाते।
जीने ही चाह तो है दिल में
पर कैसे बताये ख़ुल्ले में?
उसके रूप है अनेक
पर इरादे है मन में नेक।
