Usually I Start My Day Yawning Poem by Ivona Sophia

Usually I Start My Day Yawning

Rating: 5.0

usually I start my day yawning (twice) and
checking the clock (atomic and not accurate) .
why am I always trying to divide hours by minutes?
when the result is negative, I get scared. negative results

are good only in medicine. cold waiting-room
with cheap art on the walls. glass, plastic, paper.
“tell me your version of truth, doctor” – and he is smiling.
I bought the user manual for my body yesterday.

one chapter solved sixteen problems about my health
and one real phobia. people are afraid of cancer
and spiders. meat provides proteins (spiders?) .
fresh fruit can help make your immune system strong.

I moved a heavy desk all by myself and put fresh sheets
on my queen-size bed (including the bed skirt) .
I have to read the rest of the book; it does work,
and a negative time can make me look younger.
