Vain Imagination

Let no vain imagination
Consume life’s truth once heard
Nor let false emancipation
Hide Salvation’s word

Let no storm no world eruption
Contaminate your heart
Causing through soul corruption
From Heaven’s Way to part

No one alone, can ensure this
Roaming in the dark
They need God’s touch, Salvation’s kiss
To enter life’s waiting ark

Who has ears able to hear?
These facts now being told
Who’s child enough, to draw God near?
To join Christ Jesus’ fold

Through Jesus alone is life received
Through Jesus are hearts washed clean
Only when souls have Christ believed
May on life’s Promise lean

Vain imagination’s daring
Dangerous to a fault
Trust The One with love worth sharing
To fend off gross assault

Let truth cause imagination
To Jesus bend its knee
Seek in faith a true relation
Who’ll set your spirit free

Jesus, Jesus God’s heir God’s Son
Salvation’s Lamb on high
Through Christ alone is victory won
Where none will ever die…..
