Valentine's Day, So What? Poem by Hebert Logerie

Valentine's Day, So What?

Valentine's Day, so what? It is not a day
Like any other day; it is a different day
A sweet day, there're more sweets and flowers
Girls, boys, women, men, youngsters
And elders talk about seeing love in the air
A lot of people dare to walk in pair
They are either in pink, in red or in white
Valentine's Day is always beautiful and light.

Valentine's Day is another day, another time
Another occasion for the Poets to rhyme
Let the birds chirp, let the children sing
Everybody is happy. Let the bells ring
The wind is whistling: love is in the air
People are having a great time; at the fair
The clowns look very funny. There is a parade
Let's enjoy the chocolate, and the lemonade.

Well-written! Nice depiction of V-day and the feelings it brings.
