Valleys Ring Out Poem by Samuel West

Valleys Ring Out

Rating: 5.0

Flare me up with a broken heart,
Light the path with a dancing spark,
Excite the world, never be apart,
Warm the path in the blinding dark.
Bring me to our sacred place,

Down the hillside and past the lake,
Become role models in the others face,
Entrust that this love will never be fake.
Help me overcome any of our fears,
By being there to dry my tears.

Because the valleys ring out,
When you and I are at one,
Let us scream, let us shout,
You are perfect to me,
What else to say?

Engulf me in your flames of joy,
Drown me in your shower of sweetness,
Don't play with my heart like a toy.

Because the valleys ring out,
When you and I are at one,
Let us scream, let us shout,
You are perfect to me,
What else to say?

I don't care about imperfection,
No one's perfect, after all,
You bring love and affection,
At your feet I do fall.

At your feet, I do fall...
