* Victims of war – inspired by Naseer Ahmed Nasir

[After reading - Lullaby For Lost Generations by Naseer Ahmed Nasir]

How long do we keep the vigil?
How many lifetimes will a wake last?
The life-bird still circles the burnt nest
Memory keeps turning back, Traitor,
To the days of joy and brings
No tear only a tiredness!
Victims of war -
Will they ever sleep again?
Waking up to nightmare dreams
Fear lurking in every corner of sky
Having peeped over the edge
Into the chasm of very death & hell
Victims of war -
Will they ever dare to live again!

Being a civilized man we have inherited two vital qualities to prove me a human.....1st is bossing and 2nd is obviously brutality. That is a byproduct of perverted mental complex. Bossing is related with egoism. In family life, social life, state life and international surroundings these qualities dominates our civilized identity. Perhaps these are the reason of war. And victims.....who not.....to earn ones breads or to beg.....without any war could it be possible! Bloodshed or devastation are not only the memorable tocken of war, mental torture, character assassination, various psychological assaults.... are also due to everyday war we face as a modern man. Any way........

Well-written a total poem. Another experience of reading.

We are all the victims, and we are all the responsibles, We can`t say and set -a side them, the reason it happens is the globe is revolving, and we are sitting and sleeping the dry stem of uncertainty,10++

victims of war....... it always bring us down to see victims of any kind, victims of society for money, lust, utopia feelings, neglected, orphan, old age home, nepotism......what not? only time tells the truth and the truth is always bitter to digest... I like your poem.....

    Aldous Huxley qoutes:

'' The most shocking fact about wars is thatits victims and its
instruments are individual human beings and that these human
beings are condenmed by the monstrous conventionsof politics
to murder or be murdered in quarrels not their own ''.

It is indeed true Ms. Angelina that in this wordly conflicts one
would certainly find several worlds of victims. But these atrocities
can only be dealth if we remain harmonious with the world of
victims and present our gesture of solidarity. A thought provoking
poem written after inspiration from my Father, Naseer Ahmed Nasir
and I am very glad and deeply appreciate your respect for him.
It would certainly lead the minds of readers to think over the other
world i.e., the world of executioners who are behind such conflicts
and infact have set up a continum halting the cherishes of life....

the root of every creation rests on madness.........
that continues as wars...both internal and external........
we call the war within as poetry..........
    and outside as idiotery.......how sad.........................
