Virus Poem by Miyu Yamizakie

Virus

As I stand upon my ledge,
I gaze down at the world that hates me.
I ask myself,

'Why are we put here on earth?
If you sit back and think about it,
Humans are nothing more than a virus.

All they do is demolish the things around them.
Yes, there are those that think of others and not themselves,
But there are not enough of them to go around.

There are those that plan to rid the world of humeans.
There are those that wish to help nature destroy us.

Many people assum that a commit will kill us.

That is not true.

We will be the source of the world's,
And our own destruction.
