mom and child ape
holding onto a branch
the glitter of fireflies
At the Yakyeh River I learnt that monkeys love to sleep at the end
of branches. Our guide told us perhaps that is to avoid predators especially snake. As we cruise the river where fireflies light up the trees at both banks, we were shown monkeys too. The fireflies flash in sequence reminding me of strobe lights at a discotheque.
