glad that adam
ate from the tree
of knowledge
the angel never
and works like a
doll serving god
the devil never
and so eternally
bound like an
angry animal
to flame
with knowledge
men could travel
anywhere in
god's world
built on knowledge
one day we will be
visiting the Most High
on a jetplane

An interesting piece concerning the freedom of will of humanity - that we are bound by nothing and that even celestial beings just do what they are told by The Great One - and even Beelzebub himself is in a constant, unchanging disposition. But not us. In my opinion, the last stanza indicates, with the use of a device of our own technology, that maybe our knowledge can even help us surpass those ethereal creatures. - K.
