There I looked out and you saw me
a waif in search of a home
you gathered me up in your arms
and carried me to safety
the voices of reason lament, but the voices of the soul rejoice.
There I looked out and you saw me
a cavalier in search of a citadel
you turned me toward my true north
and let the wind blow away my course
the voices I heard were torment, the voices of danger abound.
There I looked out and you saw me
a patron in search of a course
You garnered energy from space
and led me to believe in time
the voices of lonliness left suddenly, the voices of truth abound now.
There I looked out and you saw me
a drifter in search of a rock
you tred softly amidst the waves
and led me to believe in your strength
the voices of reason rejoice, the voices of happiness cry out.
