Voyage Of Thought

A saintly pause
Has an alter ego - procrastination
Villain to the passage of time

For deliberation
Is the soul of solitude
Groping in a fog of doubt
A hermit in meditation

For reason
Is a voyage with a lamp
To the temple of resolution
Where lucidity dwells

A familiar journey
To unfamiliar shores

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
