Some call it Divine intervention.
Some call it determined intention.
We each have a reason for heeding the call.

We all tend to agree that
We each needed to see life from a different perspective - a new point of view

We’ve each had heartaches from different sources
We’ve each found comforting hearts that touched us
We’ve altered our courses and it’s “Full Steam Ahead! ” as we:

Stop! and be the stillness in the storm
Stop! and be the comfort and the warmth in a cold and dreary time

Look! behind the eyes to the fears
Look! behind the walls to the tears that are ready to flow

Listen! there’s another heart beating
Listen! there’s another heart needing to be heard

So, thank you Emerald for the wisdom and guidance
For unshakable reliance on new-found friends.

Oh yes we’re grateful for this gift of service
You patiently observed us growing day by day.

With our struggles behind us we’ll have reminders of how it feels when the calm soothes the storm.

And we will
