Waiting For This Moment Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Waiting For This Moment

You all do what you do.
My wish is for your success.

"Oh! So...
You don't want to be a part,
Of what we do? "

Of course. I will be a part.
I have been waiting for this moment,
To arrive for many years.

"Great. Good.
Now do you have any suggestions?
Maybe some recommendations? "

Sure. I have several recommendations.
And have notes to submit,
For suggestions I have written.

"Oh.
So here we go.
You think you know so much.
Don't you.
You think you know everything."

You all do what you do.
And my wish is for your success.

"I see.
So,
You don't want to be a part of it.
You don't want to do what we do? "

No. I don't.
Leave me alone.
Keep me ignored. Please.

"Yep.
We were told that's how you are.
We were told you would be just like that."

Good.
Believe it.
