Waits Who Poem by Nirmal Upadhyaya

Waits Who

Take me away take me away
The road whispers to the moon
And I follow the lane that takes to your home.

The cold night waits till the sunshine to be blue
where the morning vibrates the same song
Take me away take me away.

Waits who?

Tell me more about who. That should count for another poem. When your emotions run high go on with writing poems, as much as you can, then chop up by topics and length. When the poetic flow is gone, that is when to stop. Do not overthink or overedit. You mangle a poem this way. Just a few tips that I would like to share with you. I hope that you are not offended.

I like the imagery painted by this poem. I am also a lunatic, or someone drawn by the moon. Do you feel drawn to the house or to the moon? I warn you to be sure where the attraction comes from - have you really fallen in love or fallen with the concept of love? Love is hopeless when unrequited.
