Walking In Another's Shoes Is Only Nice When They Fit Poem by Amanda Lukas

Walking In Another's Shoes Is Only Nice When They Fit

Rating: 4.8

If I could only see life
through the eyes of another
and walk in someone's shoes,
maybe they'd be Prada.
Maybe I'd be content.

If I could wake up next to you
each morning,
watching as you sleep,
then I just might have found
my way to heaven.

Great poem! I think the fact that we have all felt like this at some stage or other makes your point very clear. As humans we can never escape the thoughts of 'If only...'
