Walls Poem by Andrea Kelly

Walls

So many problems running through your head.
You remember what happened, and you're living in the past.
You cry. Your Mascara is running down your cheek, staining your bed.
You just want to die. To end it all. To be dead.
All you can do is fall. Fast.
-------------------
They hurt you. Lies, cheating, you run away.
As you cut, your problems are falling out, but they'll be back.
You can't escape what they had done. People betray.
The life that's yours is a mere fray.
The screams you cry are a whisper at fact.
--------------------
The family you had run to you.
Their screams and cries are heard from far.
They smother and hug you.
They're confused as you push away, too.
All they want to do is help you from your mar.
--------------------
I want you to doubt never!
I'm here, I'll help be your guide.
We well be friends always and forever.
Today can be the best day ever.
I will always be here, right by your side.
