Who Am I? Poem by Andrea Kelly

Who Am I?

Who am I?
Who are you?
Who are we to breathe, sleep, eat, live?
Do we have a meaning, a purpose;
Are we on this earth for a reason?
Who are we?
Do I exist? What about you?
Do you exist?
Who are you?
Do I know you?
Have I seen you before?
Who am I?
We're all the same, aren't we?
Human beings, mortals, intelligent things;
Who are we?
All we do is fight and bicker.
Can't we learn to get along?
Who are you?
I confess, I'm discrete, alone, a fake.
We're all like that, aren't we?
Who are we?
It's over now. It's coming to an end.
I'm insignificant, uesless, unwanted.
Who am I?
