Wanted Lies Poem by Amber Green

Wanted Lies

Rating: 5.0

Lie to me,
Tell me that you'll be here.

Lie to me,
Tell me that there's no need to fear.

Lie to me,
Convince me that you can care.

Lie to me,
Convince me that you'll be fair.

Make me believe that you can love me,
Even though, I know this will never be.

Please, just lie to me.

Why base your relationship on a lie? It will never work no matter how hard you try. Because you'll always know it, in the back of your mind, that It will all be over... Its just a matter of time. Why do this when you can do much better, you will find someone one, maby you have already met her. But that Is beside the fact, that a realationship should be based on true love and that is what you lack. So let her sit there and Lie to you, and keep on living the life you do. But just know that one day it will all work out, and you'll find out what 'TRUE LOVE' is all about.

Putting a positive spin on something perceived as negative... interesting concept, you pulled it off well, Amber! ! Brian
