War Child

I will be ok
I know this battle
Is of my taking
And I may be
A wounded soldier now
But one day success
Will be of my making
So don't worry my flower
For one day I will be stronger
A warrior to my partakings
And you and me will
Be the strongest of friends
The for this is
The reason fate
Had made me enlisted

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
