War Is Not The Answer

War is not the answer
To humanity’s ills
It doesn’t unite.
And it doesn’t pay bills.
Just the thought of war
Only sends chills.
It isn‘t pretty.
And it gives no thrills.
It robs the pocket
And spoils the table.
Folks can’t make it.
They just aren’t able.
Love is the answer
To humanity’s ills.
For love unites,
And it does pay bills.
