Wary Poem by Kitty Marie Lucas

Wary

unsure of his lack of inhibitions
i'm insecure, with small ambitions
all i'm waiting for is pain
and i never risk myself in vain

i will run if there is a shadow
of the doubt that takes my mind
wary that his affections are shallow
i can't stay only to find
i was blind
