Water Of Life Poem by Justin Gildow

Water Of Life

Battles in this land have
broken me
Fatigue has consumed me

I stop by a spring
And fairies are fluttering
all around me
Me and the spring

They know I've been
battle tested
And they want me to take
this time that I have for
right now to be well rested

They offer me water of life
A cure that will cure all
wounds that I've suffered in
battle
As we as endured in my journey

Drinking many cups of water
of life
I feel its effect on me
Healing me
