We Be Fab, Man! Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

We Be Fab, Man!

(A Beatles Parody)

! HAEY! HAEY! HAEY,
Oops, I’m looking in the mirror.
You should have heard Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
I was trying to sing She Loves You.
That’s all I am trying to say-ah!

Some say they remember when we was fab,
I say “Hey man, we still are! ”
But my eyesight isn’t what it once was,
So baby you can drive my car!

The babes still chase us down the street,
And we escape from those gray hairs.
But it destroys the bones inside our feet,
And our sales are much more rare.

Come on over to Apple Studios.
We can put your voice on tape.
Please do not block the wheelchair ramp
We now use it for goodness sake.
