We Fight Once Again Poem by krystal Sheehan

We Fight Once Again

We fight and argue once again,
it seems like you don't love me anymore,
you gave birth to me,
and held me when I cried.

You would tell me 'everything will be ok',
but now you ignore me,
and try your best to make me angry.

What happened to you?
I would ask myself, while thinking its my fault,
once again we fought and bickered,
and you called me names that were not true.

Then you would be nice to me,
and act like nothing happened,
I shrug it off and go along with it,
we hug and say 'I love you',
but that changes every night.

Once again we fight,
and it doesn't stop,
would you argue with someone that you love?
would you do anything for that person?
eve if it means leaving them behind...
