We Have Just Cause Poem by Gary James Smith

We Have Just Cause

We Have Just Cause

We have just cause for Hallelujah's
For we know the risen One
Death no longer holds us captive
For we've believed on Christ the Son
And as He's become our Resurrection
We too shall rise one glorious day
What hope for today and hope for tomorrow
For us there's a land that is fairer than day

I live in His strength for my weakness
In His wealth for my want
All of His richness is my treasure
Life no more is nonchalant
What a Saviour who loves us dearly
Proved His worthiness by the Cross
Poured out His gifting through His blood on Calvary
His uttermost given at His uttermost cost

Bows this heart to thank this Saviour
Thank you Lord for saving me
Letting me know by your Spirit
Praise God I'm set for eternity
Your indwelling...my Salvation
Hallelujah bless you Lord
All afforded to any sinner
Who repents and believes your Word!

Can you find a tidbit of praises
To offer back to God today
There must be something in your life
Where God has blessed you along life's way
Break out now with full blown praises
Bless you Lord...O bless you God
Although I never really thought about it before
Today it's most fully understood!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
