One day sure, we’ll meet
No matter, how afar you drift
Or to any distant continent you retreat
Such is my instinct
So strong, pure and infinite
So is the inherent truth
Whether you feel it or not, at present
There is no power that can split
Two, truly loving hearts
In the life you did opt
In a romantic inertia, you are beset
For a while just halt
Your usual hustle and bustle
To reflect for once at least
At the desperate tinnitus
Hinting at your hidden wants
Coming straight from your heartbeats
You suppressed too long in inadvertence
Wake up to look into your inner shrine
Where you find my contour glow
Like a burning river of lava in flow
From a just burst out volcano
Razing down your doubts
About my love and passionate resolve
Whence will open all fettering gates
And on that day sure, we’ll meet
Sathya……..
a good love song on optimistic lines...must say well composed...my ten
This has a haunting wistful quality, combined with passion and sensual longing. The volcano image and the idea of looking inwards past the jangling tinnitus of everyday life to glimpse the shadowy contour of the loved one, are particularly strong. The context is unclear - this clould be a poem written to a lover who has gone to work abroad, to a partially estranged partner ('On that day we shall meet' being the day that she looks on you with love again) or even a relationship that the writer hopes to find in the future. I like the relatively simple words that you have used, as well.
right from the first word the optisim in you is so very evident and it is an eyeopener for the gen-next to 'just halt' from their 'romantic inertia' and look into their 'inner shrine' -the shrine of true love where lord resides. artistic display of phrases! thanks for sharing satya.

OH this is soo beautifully penned and with soo much drama, true love does not stop any and all it encounters, if only in the end to pick up where once left behind........Bonnie
