We Know Your Still Good Poem by Garrett Westcott

We Know Your Still Good

I was born a lonely child
Destine for a certain grave
But there was a light shining from the heavens
And Jesus had a plan to save

My life was a mirror to misery
My hope was a prayer away
Jesus answered my calling
Now, I know tomorrow's another day

-chorus-
We know Your still good
Even after the sun has finally set
We know Your still good
Even though we don't have all the answers yet
And we know Your Son is good
Because He laid down His life for us
And because of Jesus' love
We know You are looking down from above

The woman at the counter
Is a woman all alone
Except for her only child
Who is waiting for her to come home

And the children of the plains
Are nothing but skin and bones
Yet we still believe in salvation
And God is on His throne
