'' We've A Meeting With Death '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' We've A Meeting With Death ''

Rating: 5.0

If living's a gift,
Why do we kill,
As to anarchy we drift,
Do humans have the will.

To cease our slaying,
Of all that's alive,
Give up on preying,
Help each other thrive.

The human has evolved,
Into what is a beast,
Our woes can't be solved,
If death is increased.

We refuse to learn,
We've been given one chance,
It will cause discern,
If we don't make a stance.

This may come as a blow,
But as chaos convenes,
Our intelligence is so low,
We don't know what that means.

We have a limited time,
To turn back the clock,
We can reach our prime,
Or be stood in the dock.

Human arrogance astounds,
Our universal friends,
We're giving them grounds,
To ensure our time ends.

Our creators are observing,
With baited breath,
If their needs we're not serving,
