Weapon Of P.R.A.I.S.E. Poem by Luke Easter

Weapon Of P.R.A.I.S.E.

Never underestimate the importance of P.R.A.I.S.E. It's one of the most powerful spiritual weapons you have. Persistently Revere Acknowledgment In Secular Exalting.

P.R.A.I.S.E. is more than a pleasant song or a few uplifting words about God. It does something. It releases the very presence of God Himself. When the presence of God comes on the scene, your enemies are turned back. Sickness and disease can't stay on your body. Poverty can't stay in your house.

Even physical weariness has to flee when it's faced with real joy-filled P.R.A.I.S.E.

The next time the devil tries to stifle your effectiveness, to drain you of the strength, wealth and victory that's yours in Jesus, turn him back with that powerful weapon. Lift your hands, your voice and whole heart to God in P.R.A.I.S.E!

Passion For Christ

P.R.A.I.S.E.

Pleasing God in the way you live your life,

Resounding footsteps that are patterned after Christ,

Admitting you can't do nothing significant on your own,

Instinctively spreading the Gospel from how you’ve grown,

Saturating teachings from the bible as a chef pours on butter,

Excitingly touching everyone as a true sister and brother.

Hey Jeff, it’s your Brother Luke,
How did it go for you today?
I know you are in the middle of something,
I just called to say lets stop & give a daily Praise.

People are always on the phone to talk,
Usually without knowing what it’s like to walk,
In the shoes of the ones upon whom we set out sights,
To spend what seems forever, gossiping about last night.

Something that happened in sports or an incident at work,
We just can’t wait to add our two cents, pouring on the dirt,
Why didn’t he take that last shot or she’s such a little flirt,
Long as we had a good time, who cared if someone was hurt.

Where do we spend the hours, what is done with our time?
Mind your own business and I’ll pay attention to mine,
Hebrews 13: 15, when we get together on any given day,
First and foremost it should be to give Him Praise.

Only God knows everything that’s going on,
It’s up to Him to determine right from wrong,
He may have that person, those people in that place,
To see how strong & faithful is your mercy and grace.

The simple point is that we must always give Praise,
Who knows when we’ll see better or worsening days?
Why wait to have God look down on us then?
Saying, My child, you should have Praised Me when…
