Weary Moon Poem by Asma Khan

Weary Moon

The moon wore my shadow
in the absence of the sun
was it not what glowed
in the dark again

patting emotions on the
back of the pain
resting wind's directions
on the lion's mane

and so continued the sun
wandering about
dusting stars over the
sky's very doubt
